Image via WikipediaJust a ferry ride away from Vancouver is Victoria. And the weather is spectacular!
I'm on assignment and going to stay in three of Victoria's eight historic inns and visit the rest. Also taking a look at the slow food scene, eating at a couple of the great restaurants and visiting some producers, including Victoria Spirits, the distillers of the best gin I've ever tasted, and Choux Choux Charcuterie. Will also touch base with some of the less well known attractions like the Ross Bay Cemetery where many of Victoria's founders lie.
Come along for the ride - I'll be posting text and images as often as I can...
Welcome! "Stamps in My Passport" is a true travel blog, a journal in which I can quickly capture details and reactions when I'm on the road. Articles and images for travel markets will flow from this travelog when I get back home. If you stumble upon "Stamps", I hope you derive as much pleasure reading it as I had from posting the unedited stories of my travels, as well as occasional tips and links to my published articles ....
