I woke at 6:30am on Sunday November 20, 2011, to discover that snow had fallen on the Santa Rosa Mountains. It's the first time I've seen it in 15 years of making the pilgrimage south in the fall to play golf. Standing on my balcony at Desert Springs Resort, I felt the nip of winter in the air as I took this shot with my phone. The high peak is San Jacinto.
