Welcome! "Stamps in My Passport" is a true travel blog, a journal in which I can quickly capture details and reactions when I'm on the road. Articles and images for travel markets will flow from this travelog when I get back home. If you stumble upon "Stamps", I hope you derive as much pleasure reading it as I had from posting the unedited stories of my travels, as well as occasional tips and links to my published articles ....

SEARCHING FOR JACQUES CARTIER IN ST-MALO, BRITTANY
In the summer of 2011, I spent a day in St-Malo searching for Jacques Cartier. The native son of this magical town in Britanny sailed to the New World in 1534 and claimed what he found for France. Later the land was called Canada.
I found that the Malouins were as proud of Cartier as Canadians. Here's my story of that intriguing day published by the Day Trips Travel Guide here.
