TRAVEL MEDIA ASSOCIATION OF CANADA

I'm proud and excited to announce that the Travel Media Association of Canada has approved my membership. It took me a while to meet their standards and requirements, but I like an organization that demands proof of professional ability and performance.

I am very grateful to the following travel editors who accepted my articles and images, and colleagues who answered questions and gave me advice in the spirit of generosity. In no particular order, they include:
Many, many thanks to everyone for playing a part in helping me reach my goal ....

  5. Here I am again Julie, although I did post a comment yesterday. First, thanks for mentioning me and I do appreciate in return all the good advice you've given me in regards to my novel etc.

I had sort of given up trying to get in to TWA because the times I tried they were not interseted in the fact I've been publishing travel stories (mainly in print and in some of the big newspapers) since 1982 and since that time on-line. (2008 - 2011 four times a week for Planet Eye, also now for Europe Up Close, Off Beat Travel etc as well as for Senior Living and I'd had some print publications through other places too. (Hardly a 'hobby writer') At the last time I tried they weren't considering on-line publishing but perhaps they have changed their tune.
I'm happy to hear you made it. Maybe I should try again.

  6. Thanks, Ruth. My pleasure to help with your novel's journey to publication.
TMAC now counts online publication as well as print. Also images and video clips. Depends on circulation and UVMs.
